My story

Looking to rehome a 7(?) year old German shepherd/malinois. Rescued from a friends family member that passed. Great with young kids and we have a pug they are best friends. He was a little territorial at first with the pug, never mean but you could tell when he was irritated. our pug is the most personal space invasive dog, he’s also kind of blind so gets in the way all the time and he is never bothered by him. He also like to catch bugs mid air and will play in bubbles all day long. He is very anxious, mostly during thunderstorms or around someone new. He will pee when he’s super excited/nervous meeting someone. He’s timid if you raise your voice at all and that can sometimes cause an accident but it has been uncommon for us here. During thunderstorms he’ll pace and whine but if you love on him and lay with him, he feels better. He’s a great dog, just really needs someone to love him and be his forever home. We’re moving and do not want to have him go through that and still be rehomed!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Beau, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
