My story

HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org ---- A very playful cat who loves to chase balls and his mouse toys - Has lived with other cats and will likely enjoy an active playful cat buddy in his new home- Will likely be a shy guy at first, so he is looking for an adopter who will allow him to take things at his own pace - he does best when he starts out in his own room and is slowly introduced to the rest of the house after a few days- Has a lot of love to give and will be a terrific companion for a quiet person or two who will allow him to settle in at him own slow pace- Once he gets comfortable with you, he will rub all over you and beg for so much attention! - Will be best suited for home with older children or just adults; young, busy children are just too much for him - Has some vision loss in left eye, most likely secondary to previous entropion. Foster noted that there may be vision limitations in home (more info at ARL) All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 10 Age: 3yrs 2mths 2wks
