My story

Cedar is a 7-year-old shepherd mix with a gentle soul and so much love to give. With his super soft, plush coat and calm presence, he’s the kind of dog who makes you feel at ease the moment you meet him. This sweet boy enjoys spending time outdoors, taking in all the sights and smells on a nice walk. He’s happiest when he’s exploring at his own pace and then leaning in close for pets and those all-important butt scratches, his specialty! Cedar is open to meeting other pets and would do well in a home with kids 12+ who can match his easygoing nature. As a shepherd mix entering his senior years, Cedar is looking for a home that will support him as he ages, keeping him active, engaged, and healthy both physically and mentally. Regular exercise, enrichment, and lots of love will help him continue to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest.
