Ivy

My story

Meet Ivy, a sweet 3-year-old pitbull mix who is looking for her forever home. I took her in to save her from being abandoned in the woods, and she truly deserves a safe, loving family. Ivy is about 50 lbs and has such a gentle, affectionate personality. She loves people and does great with kids, other dogs, and even cats. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to you and be part of a family. She has had a recent health check and appears healthy, but I do not have vaccination records, and she is not microchipped. The only thing to note is that Ivy can show some resource guarding (mainly with food or high-value items), so she would do best with an owner who understands this behavior or is willing to work with her. Aside from that, she is truly an amazing dog. I am unable to keep her, but I want to make sure she goes to a safe, loving home where she will be cared for and never have to worry about being abandoned again.
