My story

How this pet arrived:Dewey was brought in by a community member on April 14, 2026.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Dewey, a gentle soul wrapped in soft fur and quiet grace. She is a slightly older beauty, the kind who carries her years like a well-loved story-warm, steady, and full of charm. Dewey doesn't rush the world; she settles into it. When you reach out to her, she leans in with trust, her purr blooming like a soft lullaby beneath your fingertips. Head scratches and chin rubs are her favorite language, and she'll gladly linger in that sweet moment as long as you will. She delights in life's little pleasures-especially the cheerful rattle of Temptations treats, which she adores with a spark of quiet excitement. Dewey does have a Grade 3 (out of 6) heart murmur, but her chest radiographs are within normal limits and she shows no clinical signs. She's feeling well and enjoying life, and will simply need routine monitoring with your regular veterinarian as she continues her journey. Dewey is ready to find a home where calm hearts and gentle hands await her, where she can curl into her next chapter with ease. When you come to meet her, please bring a secure cat carrier for her journey home-she deserves a safe and cozy passage to the place she'll soon call her own. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.1 Age: 10yrs 0mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dewey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
