My story

How Walter arrived: Walter was brought in by a community member on April 20, 2026. Why Walter is the one for you:Meet Walter, a wiggly, wonderful boy who is always ready to make his way right into your heart. From the moment he meets you, he is all about affection, offering those adorable tippy tappies when he gets excited. He bonds very quickly and is a total cuddlebug, happily leaning in for pets and soaking up attention like it is his favorite pastime. Walter walks nicely on leash and likes to check in with his person along the way, making him a thoughtful and easygoing walking buddy. He can be a little wobbly when faced with loud noises or sudden movements, but with gentle reassurance, he quickly finds his confidence again. Around other dogs, he may come off a bit shy or unsure, preferring to take things slow and read the room before jumping in. This sweet boy has a playful side, too, especially if you hype him up, and nothing gets him more excited than a tasty treat, especially a little whipped cream to make his day extra special. Walter would thrive in a home that offers patience, kindness, and plenty of love, giving him the chance to feel safe and let his personality fully blossom.
