My story

Meet Coco: A Cozy Girl With a Brave Little Heart Coco is a beautiful two-year-old tabby cat with big green eyes, lovely white whiskers, and the sweetest, softest spirit. She spent the first two years of her life in a busy home with lots of other cats and lots of children, where she was often one of the shy ones. But now that Coco is getting a chance to shine on her own, she’s discovering just how wonderful human affection can be—and she is leaning all the way in. This gentle girl is incredibly sweet and affectionate while still having an independent streak. She loves attention from her people and would be happiest in a home where someone is around often to give her the love and company she’s come to enjoy. Coco is also learning the joys of playtime, especially with wand toys, and she’s a big fan of lounging in a cat bed while gazing out the window. Cardboard boxes? Absolutely fascinating. Houseplants? Also fascinating—sometimes a little too fascinating—so her future family may want to keep an eye on any tempting dirt-filled pots. Coco has quite a backstory. After escaping from the home where she grew up, she survived outside for three months during a harsh winter. Now she is safe, warm, and happily back indoors, fully embracing the cozy girl life she deserves. Coco could be a wonderful family cat, including in a home with kind children, and she may also enjoy being a companion to a friendly resident cat. She’s sweet, resilient, affectionate, and ready for a home where she can feel cherished every day. Coco is spayed, up to date on vaccines, free of parasites, microchipped and negative for FIV/ FeLV. Coco is ready to trade her survival story for a love story. Could she be your new best friend?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Coco, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
