My story

Sweet Adult Lap Cat & Master Hunter Seeking a Peaceful, Solo Sanctuary Chalupa is a 8-year-old domestic shorthair who is the definition of a "loyal companion." Every day when I walk through the front door, she is there to greet me with a vocal "hello." If you are looking for a cat who truly wants to be part of your life, she is the one. She is a world-class lap warmer and still has the spirit of a kitten when it comes to her toys. Chalupa has spent her life being brave—she was rescued from the outdoors and survived a dog attack—and as a result, she is looking for a quiet home where she can be the center of attention. She would thrive in a home with no other pets and no small children. Due to the high-energy environment of a home with a young child, she has developed some anxiety that has led to inappropriate urination. However, her vet has confirmed she is healthy; she is simply a sensitive cat who is "over-stimulated" by the noise and unpredictability of a toddler household.
