My story

Oz is a very playful, active cat. He showed up on our doorstep as a very tiny kitten. He’s very charming and funny but has some issues with bursts of very rough play. I’m unable to keep him because I believe he views my 5 year old daughter as a playmate. He does not understand boundaries as he didn’t grow up with a feline mom teaching him or brothers and sisters roughing him up to teach him about pain. He can be very sweet and loves the outdoors. He loves to climb and explore. He would benefit from outside time and playmates, and would be an excellent mouser or farm cat. We love him, but can’t take any more ambushes on my daughter from him. We are not home enough to devote the playtime and training that he requires, Or freedom to expend his energy exploring outside. We bought him a cat bed that hangs in the window that he adores. It is free to the adopter as well as numerous cat toys. He is a very loved and spoiled fellow, and we will be so thrilled to find him a good home!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Oswald, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
