After being left behind when his family was evicted, Chop spent several months in a shelter before joining a foster home. Despite his rough start, he remains one of the happiest, most adaptable dogs you'll ever meet. Why you'll love Chop: Approximately 4 years old 55 pounds and at a healthy weight Friendly with people and other dogs Gentle, easygoing temperament Crate trained Learns quickly and knows basic commands Loves affection and being close to his people Happy, social, and eager to please Chop is what we call a "Velcro dog"—he loves being part of whatever his humans are doing and is happiest when included in the action. His soft, submissive nature and lack of reactivity suggest he could do well in many types of homes. Chop is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. He's ready to leave his past behind and find the loving, stable home he deserves.
