My story

This pet is part of a bonded pair and they must be adopted together. His brothers profile will be linked below.Smith is coming up on 11 years old. I found him and his brother as newborns outside of my apartment when I lived in Virginia. He is very kind, loves attention on his terms, can be skiddish with loud noises, got along well with our pitbulls, and I've never seen him act aggressively outside of playing with his brother which has happened less frequently as they have gotten older.Overall he is the perfect indoor house cat, and it pains us to need to rehome him and his brother. Our reasoning is because a few years ago we took in a German shepherd puppy and as time has gone on she has been less and less tolerant of the cats despite all our training efforts. And my wife and daughter are more bonded to the dog than the cats we never see because they spend all day hiding. We just want whats best for them.https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47846760-amherst-new-hampshire-cat

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Smith, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
