My story

Ash is a very affectionate, loving cat. However, he also has a bit of a switch where he does not let you know when he's over-stimulated with affection, and may end up biting or scratching before he runs away. We have 2 young babies at home and can no longer give him the patience and attention he needs. He sometimes will bat at our toddler and so I just can't trust him with our children anymore either. I think he needs a family or a single owner that can give him the time and affection he deserves. He can be such a sweet, loving cat. But his Jekyll and Hyde personality are no longer a good fit for our family. He is also known to chew up electric cords/wires, clothes, or any stringy or feathery cat toys. So, it takes some additional cat-proofing strategies. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old. But it's, sadly, time for us to part ways and I really hope he finds a good, loving family that can care for him properly.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ash, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
