My story

Millie came to us in December 2025. She was thin, had a double ear infection (neglect). Millie can be food aggressive with our husky (female) however I added a photo of our husky eating Millies food and sometimes shes fine with it. I also worked with her when we got her by putting my hands in food dish while she's eating. Millie is crate trained, knows some commands, and will alert when she needs to go outside. She has never had any accidents in her crate nor in the house. She is a high energy dog. She is also a hunting dog. She will need training. She chases our cats when they run but hasn't tried to harm them. She would do best around a male dog and not other female dogs. Recently my almost 3 year old nephew stayed the weekend and she was fine around him. She did lick and try to nibble his ear (also does with us). She also pawed at him in a playful manner because they are eye to eye. She is super sweet and loves to cuddle. She is very relaxed at the vets office (see pic).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Millie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
