Ruby

My story

Ruby's owner has lost the ability to care for her after 7-9 years of being part of the family. Unfortunately, there is no one for Ruby to move in with. Ruby started in rehoming situation before being found. She needs a new home. She is loving, playful and is great with the family. Ruby is 12 years old, but don't tell her that, she moves like a dog half her age. 48 lbs. and very bright, she is happy to sit at your side and if you wish to give her a treat, she will not object, but she does not demand it either. Ruby is used to going out 3-4 times a day with one time being a walk. She knows her name and basic commands. She does listen very well and she likes to be part of the group, but is willing to play on her own when others are doing things. I would describe her as wonderful and if I did not already have a dog that does not play with others, then I would have taken her!
