My story

This cute little fella is named Cabezon and he’s looking for a furever home with a person, or people, who will help him on his road to gaining more confidence out in the world.  He follows the lead of his foster sibling (an older Chihuahua) and has learned quite quickly that strangers can be friendly and will pay him lots of attention, which he loves.  He still goes for walks with a sense of alertness for anything new but his tail is no longer tucked under while walking.  Since being released from incarceration after his neuter surgery, he’s shown himself to be a playful little 2-year-old.  He has a couple of favorite toys he likes to chase and he wishes that his older sibling would play more.  A new little sibling of his own is probably another of his wishes. Cabezon can be a little loud when he hears neighborhood noises or wants to voice his displeasure when he sees someone walking on the road, so apartment living might not be for him. A secure yard is necessary for this little man.  He’s been doing really well on his house-training, being taken out frequently, and he sleeps through the night with no accidents. He’s not been around cats and children while at his foster home but he doesn’t chase rabbits or birds.  He’s a good boy in the house because he doesn’t chew on anything and will lie quietly in his pen when left alone. Cabezon has been neutered and microchipped and he’s up-to-date on shots. If you’d like to learn more about Cabezon, please send in a statement of interest on our website at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. ##2691758##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cabezon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
