My story

Milo is a 5-year-old long-haired tabby male. I found him in our backyard when he was about 3 weeks old, and he’s been part of our family ever since. He has lived with dogs most of his life and has done well, including with 4 Chihuahuas and a Yorkie. He has not been around other cats, so I’m unsure how he would do in a multi-cat home. Milo is an independent cat who takes time to build trust. With new people, he may hiss or swat at first—he does best with slow introductions and someone who understands cat boundaries. Once he feels comfortable (which can take a couple of weeks), he becomes very sweet, enjoys being near his person, and will cuddle on his own terms. He spends most of his day relaxing, exploring, and playing with his toys. He’s generally good with children and does not bite, but he may give gentle warning nibbles or paw taps if he feels overstimulated. Milo would do best in a calm home with a patient owner who will give him the time and space he needs to adjust.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Milo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
