My story

Rudy came to the rescue as an orphan with his two sisters at three days old. He is like the middle child. Rudy is referred to as the outdoor adventure guy. He loves to play outside. When he grows up, he will be a great walking/hiking companion. Rudy does not like confined spaces and will let you know. When it's nap time, he prefers to curl up wherever you are rather than sleep near his sisters. A DNA test was done to find out what these little mystery puppies were mixed with. They matched up to Cattle dog, Labrador, Catahoula and Cocker Spaniel. Rudy might grow into a medium size dog. They are going to be active and require consistent training to grow up to be wonderful companions. A home with another dog and a fenced yard would be best. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
