My story

She’s the kind of cat who believes life is best enjoyed slowly. Long naps in quiet corners, soft blankets, and the occasional stretch in a sunbeam—those are her favorite things. Treats are, of course, a close second, and she’ll happily remind you when it’s time for one. She’s a sensitive soul who prefers calm, predictable environments. Too much noise or sudden activity can make her uneasy, and she’s not comfortable around other cats or dogs. New people and unexpected visitors can also be overwhelming for her, so she’s looking for a home where things stay peaceful and consistent. What she truly needs is a place where she can be the center of attention—a single-pet household with someone patient and understanding, who will give her the time and space to feel safe. In the right environment, she’ll settle in beautifully and show her gentle, loving nature in her own quiet way. If you’re someone who appreciates a calm companion and can offer a stable, low-activity home, she could be the one.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Peanut, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
