My story

Meet Philbin — your happy, goofy lab with a heart of gold!Philbin is a 3-year-old yellow lab who brings classic lab energy, curiosity, and charm everywhere he goes. From the moment you meet him, he’s ready to say hello with a wagging tail and a friendly, social personality. He loves being around people and will happily come right up to greet you — sometimes with a little extra enthusiasm!This big guy is affectionate and enjoys leaning into you for pets and attention. He’s playful too — especially when toys are involved. Philbin loves a good game of fetch and has a soft mouth, making him a fun and easygoing play partner.On walks, Philbin is full of curiosity and likes to explore the world around him. He’s still working on his leash manners and can be a bit strong and unpredictable at times, so he’ll do best with someone who can guide him and help him learn. Like many labs, he also enjoys sniffing everything (and marking along the way!), so outdoor adventures are right up his alley.Philbin can get a little overwhelmed in new situations and may show it by whining or getting distracted, but with a little patience and reassurance, he settles in and shows his sweet, lovable side. He’s friendly with other dogs and has shown he can be tolerant, though he’s still learning how to fully engage and play appropriately.Philbin would thrive in an active home that can give him structure, exercise, and continued training.
