My story

Thea is a 1 ½ year old pit mix who is as sweet as she is playful. This bouncy girl greets everyone she meets with happy tail wags, kisses, and a whole lot of enthusiasm. She’s eager to get outside for walks (though she does pull hard on the leash!) and is always ready to explore the world by your side.With her people, Thea is affectionate and loving—she enjoys curling around for pets, happily offers her paws, and will lean right in for attention. She can be a little shy when first meeting someone new or walking into a new space, but she warms up quickly with gentle encouragement. Her soft almond eyes and wiggly body say it all—she just wants to be loved.Playful by nature, Thea enjoys games of chase and will sometimes hop along with silly puppy-like energy. She’s not very interested in toys but loves a good chewy. She’s comfortable sharing food and chewies with people and doesn’t mind being handled while eating.Thea would do best with an experienced adopter who understands her needs. She should be the only dog in the home (unless adopted with her brother, Thanos, whom she adores) and would do best in a household with older children only. She can be standoffish with new dogs and is selective about dog friends, but she always gives clear signals about her boundaries.If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and affectionate companion who will keep you smiling, Thea may be the perfect match.
