My story
The owner had to go in to a long term treatment facility and I told her I could take her two cats to the shelter for her since this was very unexpected. I was unaware when I tried to help that every rescue and shelter would be unable to accept them due to being full. As a last resort I contacted the Polk County animal control and they told me they were also full and unable to accept them and they provided me a list of contacts but I have had no luck. I have large bulldogs in my home and I have to keep these two locked in a bathroom to keep them safe. Sammy (black and white approximately 1 Meo is approximately 5 both have been spayed and neutered.
