My story

Catniss has survived the Hunger Games and won. Now she is looking for a forever home to relax and enjoy life to the fullest. Since Catniss survived the Hunger Games on the streets of Sanford, she came to CARA a little rough with very weak back legs. She has seen the vet and had some tests done. Everything came back normal and her hips and legs look normal. So, we are hoping with some exercise and better food in a foster home, she will gain strength in her legs but we are not sure if her wobbling will completely go away. This is just one thing that makes her special and doesn't seem to affect her positive spirit. She is very sweet and likes to cuddle on your lap. When it's meal time, she will let you know it's time to feed her. One of her favorite activities is eating and watching her foster brothers play.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Catniss, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
