My story

Meet Celia 💕 Short legs, big heart, and a spirit that’s quietly growing stronger every day—this sweet girl is ready to find her people. Celia is about 2–3 years old and appears to be a shepherd mix with a little something extra that gave her those adorable low-rider legs. She has limited vision in her left eye, but it doesn’t slow her down or take away from her gentle, loving nature. She’ll be evaluated by veterinarians, but so far she’s handling it like a champ. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for Celia, and she can be shy and unsure at first. But with a little patience and kindness, you can see her confidence blooming more and more each day. Underneath that timid exterior is an incredibly sweet soul who leans into gentle pets and finds comfort in calm, loving energy. Her biggest confidence boost? Other dogs. Celia absolutely thrives with canine friends and would do best in a home with a friendly, confident dog to show her the ropes. She also does well with kids, especially those who understand she just needs a little time to feel safe. Celia is the kind of dog who will bond deeply with her people—the one who quietly becomes your shadow, your soft place at the end of the day, your little victory story.
