My story

Lily was my grandma’s cat that she adopted as a kitten and had for 15 years. My grandma passed away, and Lily will need a new home, as I can’t take her with me. Lily was declawed as a kitten. While she’s older, she’s pretty healthy for her age. She has had more accidents of pooping outside of the litter box since she’s been without my grandma for over a month, but this is something we expect to stop once she’s settled in a new home. She still pees in the box, and we think the accidents are behavioral/stress driven. Lily has lived with many cats of all ages and could do well in a home either with her sister cat Gabby or in a household with other cats. She has never lived with dogs but may be okay with slow, proper introductions. She’s got a little bit of an attitude at first but she’s always been my favorite of my grandma’s cats. My grandma free fed her, so she could lose a few pounds. I’m not sure when she went to the vet last, but we will get her records sent to her forever home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lily, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
