My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Elsa Age: 2 years old (Born January 2024) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Spitz Mix Color: White Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY It’s truly a miracle that I’m still here today. I was rescued from a large fire in 2025, and thanks to the quick actions of kind people, I was given a second chance at life. Now, I’m safe and moving forward, ready to leave the past behind and start a new chapter filled with love and comfort.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I got my name Elsa because I give off a little “ice princess” vibe! I might seem a bit cool and reserved at first, but give me a little time and you’ll see my warm, affectionate side come through. Once I feel comfortable, I’m a loving and gentle girl who enjoys being close to my people.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With PeopleI can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly and begin to enjoy pets and affection. I’m comfortable being picked up and handled gently. Loud or sudden movements can startle me at times, so I would do best in a calm, steady home where I can feel safe and continue building my confidence. · With Dogs: I play well with my roommate and enjoy having a dog companion around—it brings me a lot of comfort. I like to greet new dogs, but I prefer to take things slow and don’t jump straight into play. I like to explore first and get a feel for things before opening up. I tend to get along best with dogs that are a similar size and have a matching energy level, where we can interact comfortably at the same pace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is currently unknown, but a proper cat test can be arranged to help find the best match. During walks, I can get excited when I see cats and may try to chase, so because of this, I would do best in a home without small animals.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate to high energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and running around. Once I’ve had a chance to burn off some energy and satisfy my curiosity, I’m able to settle down nicely and rest. I have a good balance of playful energy and calm downtime.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull at times, especially when I’m excited, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely. I walk best in quieter areas where I feel more at ease, as loud noises and busy streets can make me a bit nervous. I have good manners around people and don’t guard my food, though I can be a little sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I may bark occasionally when I’m looking for attention, but I’m generally a quiet girl. I also settle well in my kennel and know how to rest calmly. I prefer going potty outdoors and do well with a consistent routine. With continued guidance and reassurance, I’ll keep growing into a confident and well-mannered companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding my love for food and willing to guide me with patience so I learn to be more patient when other dogs are nearby   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a resilient and adaptable girl who continues to grow more confident each day. I form strong bonds with my people and truly thrive on companionship—I love being near you and will happily seek out attention and affection. I do best in a calm, structured environment where I can feel safe and continue building my confidence, especially in quieter neighborhoods. I enjoy having dog friends and find comfort in their presence, but I prefer thoughtful introductions and companions who match my energy. I’ve shown that I can learn routines quickly and respond well to guidance, especially when treats are involved. With consistency, patience, and love, I will continue to blossom into a loyal, affectionate, and well-balanced companion.   ELSA'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2701033##
