Poppy

My story

Poppy is a very sweet nice girl who can be a little shy. Her owner passed away so we took her in as a foster to get her cleaned up and ready for her forever home. She was heavily matted, bad teeth, and her back right leg seems to have some arthritis. I do not have the funds to fix everything but I was able to shave her down and bathe her, she's been eating dental chews to help with her teeth. She's 11 (born May 2015) years old, fixed, has had vaccines but I don't believe they are current. She seems leary of men and prefers women. She loves to follow me around. She gets along with cats, dogs and kids. She can get excited and accidentally pee a little but she's good at going outside. She's actually quite playful for her age. I think with the right family she'd come out of her shell even more. She loves to snuggle and be near her human.
