My story

Meet Wesley 🖤🤍TOO LONG, DIDN’T READ - SUMMARY:* Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat* Our rescue is located in Houston, TX, and we transport our babies to wonderful adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, and Colorado (on occasion). Transport cost is included in the adoption fee.* Adoption fee (adult 1 year) is $325* Would make a perfect pair with his BFF Shanti if you are looking for a dynamic duo (discount given for a pair)!Wesley is a one-year-old bundle of love and playfulness, ready to bring warmth and joy into his forever home. Born last March, he’s still full of youthful energy—but what truly makes him special is his incredibly affectionate nature.Though technically a tuxedo cat, Wesley’s unique spotted pattern gives him more of an adorable “cow cat” look, making him stand out in the cutest way. His deep yellow eyes are striking against his black-and-white fur, always glowing with curiosity and excitement.Wesley is the kind of cat who just gets it—he’s gentle, careful, and naturally kind. He doesn’t scratch or bite, making him an ideal companion for families or anyone looking for a sweet, easygoing pet. When it’s time to wind down, he’ll happily join you, bouncing between you and your loved ones to make sure everyone gets their fair share of affection. His tail fluffs up with excitement as he purrs nonstop, soaking in every moment of closeness.Playful, loving, and wonderfully social, Wesley would thrive in a home where he can be part of the action and share his endless affection. He also has a special bond with his brother, Shanti, who is also available for adoption—making them a perfect duo for anyone looking to double the love.If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate companion with a playful spark and a heart of gold, Wesley is waiting to meet you.—Wesley does great with other cats and will be perfect in almost any type of home environment! He would thrive if adopted with a buddy (especially his best friend Shanti), or to a home with a friendly resident cat. He's never interacted with a dog, but with his genial personality (and proper introductions) he could do great with a calm and respectful pup.He is approximately 1 year old, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy... All he needs now is a forever home! The adoption application can be found here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat

Wesley is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!

To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follow us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wesley, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
