My story

Hi! My name is Mac Roy and I'm an approximately 9 year old yellow male that weighs 75 pounds. My foster mom says that I'm very sweet and mellow and a good listener. I take treats gently. I love belly rubs and ear scratches. I don't get on the couch or bed but I like to lay down near wherever you are. I am potty trained and I know how to use a doggie door. I will go in a crate but it's not my favorite place. However, I'm completely well behaved when I'm left alone in the house. I just lay down and go to sleep. I walk great on a leash, but I do get excited when I see other dogs and might pull or bark when I see them. I'm working on this. I love to go out for walks with my foster family and I also like to play fetch with balls and toys. I get along great with all the dogs I've met but I've never met any cats. When someone rings the bell, I don't bark and when people come over, I don't jump on them. Since SCLRR scooped me out the shelter, I've had bloodwork and a dental to get my teeth cleaned and some of my teeth extracted. The vet says that I'm a healthy boy. I'm looking for a forever family that will spend time with me and take me on walks and give me ear and belly rubs. I'm a super mellow, sweet boy who deserves to be loved and cherished for the rest of my life. If you are interested in making this Lab part of your family, please contact your SCLRR family representative. If you have not yet applied with us, please submit an online application to adopt; an SCLRR volunteer will then contact you. Please note that your homecheck must be approved in order for you to be put in touch with the dog's foster home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mac Roy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
