My story

This incredibly sweet girl is looking for an exceptional forever home. She is well-socialized and has been lovingly fostered with other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for many types of households. She lost one of her eyes prior to entering rescue, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit; she’s happy, resilient, and full of life. Her loving nature makes her truly special. She adores attention, thrives on affection, and would love nothing more than to be your #1 girl. When her person is around, she couldn’t care less about other dogs, she just wants to be close to you. She loves to snuggle, be held, and soak up all the love and pets she can get. She’s also perfectly content sitting beside you on the couch (though with her short little legs, she’ll need a little help getting up by use of stairs or in your loving arms). As part of her adoption, the rescue covers the cost of her spay, microchip, deworming, and first vaccinations, including rabies. She will also go home with a collar and/or harness, along with permanent rescue ID tags. She’s ready to bring endless love and joy to the right home.....could that be yours? This girl has been through so much, and it’s finally her turn to be cherished. Before rescue, she lost her eye, was found wandering as a stray, heavily pregnant, until a good Samaritan brought her to the shelter. She arrived with a severe ear infection and was vomiting, but with proper care, she’s now thriving. We’ve learned she loves salmon (no chicken for this girl!) and does best relaxing for a few minutes after meals instead of jumping right into playtime. She was so lucky to land in our safety net, now she just needs her forever person. She does know how to use the dog door and she uses the potty pads pretty consistently. Once dog is pending adoption, this page will reflect that information. ***************************************************************************** Standard Rescue Disclaimer and Information: -Please no texts or calls, apply if interested. -All of our French bulldogs must be walked with a harness (never on a neck collar). -The rescue requires adoptive family to obtain pet insurance for coverage of congenital and hereditary conditions. This is for any of the dogs in our rescue identified as a French Bulldog or a Frenchie Mix. Adoption will be finalized once the proof of pet insurance requirement is met. (There are some great policies ranging between $28-65 per month) -We have an open door policy and are always here to discuss anything that may arise with your adoptive pet. After an adoption is conducted please do not hesitate to reach out. -This breed generally speaking cannot swim and will sink like bowling balls so we do not adopt out to any homes with unfenced pools. Note: All breeds and ages are our veterinarians best educated guess, use of AI or hypothesis from experience (unless otherwise stated that our group has DNA or breeder paperwork)
