My story

Hardy is a sweet male tuxedo cat with the most adorable pink nose and the longest white whiskers you've ever seen! He arrived here with his brother, Spitfire, in mid-March, after being transferred from an overcrowded shelter that needed space. While Hardy and Spitfire don’t need to be adopted together, we always like to mention when littermates come in as a pair, in case you're interested in giving two brothers a home! When Hardy first arrived, he was understandably a little unsure of his new surroundings. Moving from one shelter to another can be overwhelming and we know that it takes some time for him to settle in. But don’t let his initial shyness fool you because he’s a sweet boy with a lot of love to give once he feels comfortable. Hardy is still learning to trust, but we have no doubt that once he feels safe and secure in a forever home, his true personality will shine through. Can you be the person to offer him the peaceful, loving environment he needs to feel at home? Come meet Hardy and see if you can offer him the loving home he deserves. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
