Meet Poppy! Wow. What a beauty, eh? WE ARE LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL ADOPTER.Please be advised, Poppy has luxating patellas in both back knees and his hips don`t fit in the hip joints. Our vet states he cannot fix his knees because of his hips. He`d have to have some kind of hip replacement surgery before he could get his knees done and that he doesn`t know if there`s a vet who would do so.We are looking for someone who would want this beautiful and sweet kitty and be willing to adopt him `as is` and take him to pain management and laser treatments for pain eventually. The vet thinks he can live for several-5 or 6 years before his medical issues overcome his quality of life. He lives with other cats at the shelter and gets along well with them.
