My story

Wrigley is a 2-year-old Corgi (born 12/21/23) with a big personality and an independent nature. We got him at 8 months old from a difficult previous home, and he’s still learning to feel safe and secure. He is not a cuddly dog and prefers his space, doing best with someone who respects his boundaries and lets him warm up at his own pace. Wrigley enjoys running, playing with his toys, and has that classic sassy Corgi attitude. He is house trained but will need continued behavioral training. He has a history of anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding, so he needs a patient, experienced owner and a calm, structured home. He would do best in an adult-only household. Wrigley is not your traditional cuddly dog, but in the right home, he has the potential to be a loyal and rewarding companion.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wrigley, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
