My story

Billie isn’t just a good girl… she’s the best girl. Born to snuggle, powered by pure puppy joy, and smarter than Einstein (probably…we’re still evaluating). She’s got an award winning smile and a heart so big that it’s a miracle it still fits inside her body while being full of so much love. Dogs? She’s all in. Kids? Obsessed. Cats? Well… they’ve broken her heart a time or two, but she still shows up ready to love them anyway. This sweet, sensitive girl just wants everyone to be her best friend. At just 3.5 months old and already over 35 pounds, Billie is going to be a big, beautiful girl. We’re guessing Anatolian Shepherd mixed with a literal angel sent from heaven. And yes - she has double dew claws, and yes - they are ridiculously cute. The thing about Billie is… she tries. So hard. Her life goal? Be the goodest girl. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate like a champ. She’s got that classic bouncy puppy energy, but when you tell her “down,” you can see her working hard to make the right choice. She thrives on routine and is doing great with potty training when given consistent trips outside. And the best part? She’s food motivated. She loves to learn and earn those treats. Because she’s going to be a big girl, we recommend continued training, ideally in puppy classes, to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. She’s smart, eager, and happiest when she’s learning. Billie doesn’t just meet people, she wins them over. During her time in rescue, we’ve witnessed: - Kids who “don’t like dogs” begging their parents to adopt her. - Residents at a senior living community completely charmed into belly rubs and lap snuggles (yes, all 35+ pounds of her!) - Vet staff that were OBSESSED with her gentle nature, incredible behavior, and her smile. We truly cannot say enough good things about her… and neither can anyone who meets her. Billie’s dream home: • An active person or family • Consistent training and guidance • Ideally a confident dog friend to show her the ropes • A minimum of 13,277 hugs and kisses daily (non-negotiable) If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, joyful companion who will give you her whole heart… Billie is your girl. 🐾

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Billie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
