My story

Hi my name is Rover, but they also call me Raggy. I am a male Alaskan malamute and I’m approximately 7-8 y/o and I’m neutered. My current family rescued me in Sept of 2020 when we were living in NY. Unfortunately they have to rehome me and are looking for a home where I will get lots of love, attention and the space that I need to run free (which I really enjoy), but most of all with a loving family who understands my needs. I’m a great dog and companion, but unfortunately I can no longer stay with my current family bc they are moving cannot bring me with them to the new place. Even if they could, there will not be adequate space for me. We are all extremely sad and and heartbroken and this has been a very hard decision for them. They have procrastinated for a couple of weeks in hopes that they’d be able to find a different place to live so that I can come along too, but unfortunately that didn’t work out. We are located in central Florida in the Poinciana area.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rover, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
