My story

Meet Cheese! He is a 1-year-old handsome longhaired black and white cat who’s looking for the right placement to suit his unique personality. Cheese came to us after being found outdoors, and he’s been patiently waiting since 3/23/2026 for his next chapter.Cheese is a working cat who may prefer a more independent lifestyle. Shelter life has been a big adjustment for him, and he will need an adopter who understands that he may prefer limited handling and a more hands-off relationship as he settles in.Cheese is a great candidate for our working cat program. Working cats are cared for cats who live outdoors in appropriate settings such as barns, workshops, warehouses, or other secure properties, where they can provide natural rodent control while receiving food, water, shelter, and ongoing care from their adopter.Cheese is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
