Serene – 1 year old Heeler mix girl Don’t let the name fool you… Serene is anything but serene! This 1-year-old Heeler girl is 1000% the definition of her breed. She is smart, driven, full of personality, and absolutely committed to her self-appointed job of herding everyone in the house into position so they will stop and give her the attention she deserves. Serene has a special fondness for the men in her life and isn’t shy about making sure she’s their favorite. True to her Heeler nature, she likes to keep busy and entertained — which sometimes includes playfully tormenting the other dogs in the home… especially the small fluffy one. She will definitely keep you laughing with her antics and big personality! She already knows how to use the doggy door and walks nicely on a leash, making her a great candidate for an active home that understands and appreciates the working dog mindset. Serene is looking for an experienced handler familiar with the breed, as she embodies every detail of what makes Heelers both wonderfully challenging and incredibly rewarding companions. While she may bring a little chaos to your day, when Serene loves, she loves HARD. Her loyalty, affection, and humor make every bit of effort worthwhile.
