My story

Meet Fawn, a gentle senior min pin/chihuahua mix weighing 15 pounds. This sweet girl has a timid nature and is still learning to trust the world around her. With patience, kindness, and love, Fawn’s tender personality shines through—she truly blossoms when she feels safe. Because she can be startled easily, Fawn will run and hide if frightened. For her safety, she must always be on leash and attended when outdoors. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can take her time to settle in and know she’s secure. Fawn may be shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her quiet sweetness will melt your heart. If you’re ready to offer a safe haven and the gentle encouragement she needs, Fawn will reward you with unconditional love. Currently located/fostering in Texas but available with transport included. Our adoption process includes speaking with current foster/caretaker for additional personality information, pictures, video, and video call (if available). We work with trusted rescue transports that take great care of the fur babies and keep adopters and rescues in the loop the entire trip with dedicated group chats and Life360 tracking, so you know exactly how they are doing and where they are at always.
