My story

Bodhi is a loving, active dog who enjoys being around people and being part of daily life. He loves walks, rides well in the car, and is house trained. He knows several commands including sit, lay down, “bed,” leave it, and drop it. He is very friendly and enjoys having people around. He can get excited when guests arrive and may jump at first, but settles quickly. He has done well with dogs he knows and has been gentle with smaller dogs. With unfamiliar dogs, he can be a bit selective and does best with thoughtful introductions. Bodhi can be protective of high-value items (like people food, his vomit, or trash) and does best when given space in those moments rather than being physically handled. He also has allergies that are managed with diet and immunotherapy. As well as anxiety and impulsivity for which he takes medication. He would do best with an experienced owner in a calm home without young children, who can provide structure, consistency, and regular exercise.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bodhi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
