Scorch

My story

Burning with affection for you, it's Scorch! Scorch was used to being one of many cats who came into the shelter when there were too many cats in the home to care for. He was once one of the more skeptical residents, but Scorch has turned over a new leaf and started to hunt for affection, reaching through the bars to beg for attention from his new human friends. He has even been lulled to sleep by the rhymical petting of staff members, though we anticipate he will unveil quite the playful streak in his forever home based on his interest in batting at sweater strings! Scorch lived with numerous other cats and did well, but we don’t know how he feels about dogs or kids. Due to Scorch's background, we recommend going slow introducing him to a new home and allowing him to set the pace on this brave new adventure. He'll take to you before you know it!
