Meet Enzo — your gentle sidekick with a heart of gold At just 1 year old and 44 pounds of pure sweetness, Enzo is the kind of dog who quietly steals the spotlight… and then politely gives it back. He hasn’t been with us long, but somehow he’s already become that guy—you know, the one everyone looks for first when they walk in. Enzo is a dream on a leash. Walks with him feel less like a chore and more like a peaceful little adventure with your favorite companion. No zig-zagging, no chaos—just a steady, well-mannered gentleman enjoying the breeze and your company. His vibe? Think “chill best friend.” He’s got a low to moderate energy level, making him the perfect mix of “let’s go explore” and “let’s go nap immediately after.” Enzo seems to get along with other dogs (he’s a polite “let’s meet first” kind of guy), and with slow, respectful introductions, he may do just fine with cats too. He appreciates good manners in others because, well… he has them himself. One important note from Enzo’s personal handbook: mealtime is sacred. He prefers to dine in peace like the refined gentleman he is, so a home without small children would be his comfort zone. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list. The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
