My story

If you would like to provide this dog a loving home, please fill out a pre-adoption application.  Have a question? Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Bebop Size:  ~Medium range: 26-60  lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included).   Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:   Spayed Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip  ** Bebop has been diagnosed with suspect Cerebellar Hypoplasia  Cerebellar hypoplasia in dogs is a condition characterized by the inadequate development of the cerebellum. Since the cerebellum is responsible for fine-tuning motor movements, affected pets will be unable to move or even stand still normally. In dogs Cerebellar hypoplasia is typically a hereditary disease. Typically this disease is not degenerative, meaning that the severity of the symptoms shown are unlikely to become more severe. Bebop retains enough coordination and control over their movements to perform basic functions, she should live a good quality of life. While there is no cure or treatment for this condition, they learn to compensate for their condition and go on to live a long, happy, and pain free life. Poor coordination means these dogs may require additional attention, however they can be happy, loving companions.   Bebop is ready to dance into your heart!   Foster Home Feedback  3/24/2026 Volunteer Feedback: Bebop is a truly special girl with the sweetest spirit. She is easy‑going and affectionate; she’s the kind of dog who fits effortlessly into almost any home. Her favorite place to be is right beside her people, soaking up love and offering it right back. Bebop does have a bit of wobble to her step, similar to a young puppy finding their balance. She may lose her footing here and there, but she always catches herself and continues on without missing a beat. Her unsteady gait doesn’t hold her back from enjoying life: she eats, drinks, stands, and goes on walks just like any other dog. She simply appreciates a little extra time to navigate new environments. Bebop loves her walks, enjoys a good game of fetch, and thrives on human connection. Whether you’re heading out to explore nature or settling in for a quiet day at home, Bebop is happiest just being with her person. Bebop is more than ready to find a family who will adore her as much as she’ll adore them. She has so much love to give and deserves a home where she can feel safe, cherished, and included in everyday life.To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org April 5, 2026, 1:18 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bebop, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
