My story

Scout, is a 6 year old pure bread German shepherd, with papers, looking for a loving home. He is a sweet, loving and happy boy that is good with children. He grew up as a pup with my two boys. Although his favorite activity is to run and play fetch with tennis balls he is definitely an indoor pampered pet. He sleeps on his dog bed next to me, but sometimes he likes to be in the bed with me. He is fully trained to only go potty outside and is fully vaccinated. I am unsure how he would adjust to living with other big dogs, as he is very protective of me when I leash walk him around other large dogs. I do know he gets along with small dogs as my girlfriend has a mini dachshund and they are besties. I am only looking for him to have a new home because I recently had a stroke and can no longer take care of him in the manner I used to. A loving caring new owner is a must so that he can continue to have the life he is accustomed to and deserves

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Scout, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
