Elijah

My story

My name is Elijah. I love to be near my human. My favorite games are chase and tug of war. Finding a human or dog friend to run with would be a dream. I really enjoy bones and pig ears but love any food you give me. I am very treat motivated and have learned many tricks to earn my treats. I can spin, high-five, kiss, jump up, speak, lay down, and leave it. I crave stimulation and would love to find a home that is active or has another puppy I can get along with. I wasn't socialized early on and my past has been very unpredictable, so now I have a lot of anxiety that promotes fear aggression. I really don't know what causes it and need a home with someone experienced in giving me what I need to calm down and regulate better. I pick and choose my humans, but if you are part of my pack, I will love you forever. I am great at nonverbal communication and love to give kisses. I sometimes like to cuddle but mostly just be near my human. Please, help me become my best self!
