My story

Hi, I’m Ghibli — a one-of-a-kind heroine on a very important life quest: finding the perfect kingdom to rule. My journey will likely be most satisfying if I can continue it as a lone warrior queen, cheered on for my accomplishments and supported in all my wise decisions.I know exactly what I like in life: kibble, Churu tube treats (my ultimate life energy source), cozy safe places, and a quiet environment free of stalkers and lurkers… also known as other cats. I currently share space with some resident cats in my foster home, and let’s just say I would greatly prefer a kingdom where I am the one and only feline ruler.I’m a very unique and expressive cat. I have an entire vocabulary of sounds that I use to communicate my feelings. Sometimes I make skeptical noises when I’m evaluating potential threats, and other times I produce deep, funny vocalizations that might sound a little dramatic at first — but once you get to know me, they become quite endearing. Especially when they are clearly related to my favorite thing in the world: Churu tubes. Nom nom nom.I also enjoy the finer things in life. I like having my beautiful fur gently combed while I’m half asleep in my cozy bed. I enjoy showing off my big, permanent “surprise eyes,” which give me a wonderfully expressive face. Just be careful not to overdo the compliments — if you praise me too enthusiastically, I might start to suspect sarcasm and get a little grumpy about it.Although I appreciate a peaceful environment, I’m not a party pooper. I do enjoy playtime and will happily chase a feather wand or roll around with catnip when the mood strikes. I’m healthy, athletic, and have a great appetite. I simply like things done my way.Because I can feel threatened by other cats, I would be happiest as the only pet in the home. Fewer variables make it much easier for me to organize my environment and maintain the calm, secure life every queen deserves. Sometimes I patrol around with a little growl just to keep things in order — but when I feel safe and relaxed, my warm personality really shines through. My ideal home is one where I can be admired, respected, and comfortably spoiled. A quiet environment with humans who understand my unique communication style and appreciate my independent spirit would be perfect. With time, patience, and a steady supply of Churu treats, I will reward my loyal subjects with my fascinating personality, my expressive surprise eyes, and my
