Kovu

My story

This is Kovu! He is a handsome 7 year old German Shepard Mix with basic training level and is house trained. He loves to be outdoors, enjoys going on long walks and occasionally a light jog. Overall he has a very calm temperament and loves to have affection and be cuddled. I like to say he thinks he’s a lapdog because he loves to curl up in your lap if you let him! If you are seeking guard dog temperament then Kovu is the perfect fit for you!! He is reactive when seeing other dogs on the street (barks/lunges)!!! He always barks when someone needs enters the home or knocks on the door. Please be extra cautious about this, he can be aggressive towards people and dogs. Despite this, we have taken him to the dog park many times to work through those behaviors and he enjoys it!! Ideally we are seeking applicants with a fenced in yard.
