My story
Mokai is a sweet, clever, and incredibly handsome 2-year-old cat who has been part of our family since he was just 8 weeks old. Around adults he is affectionate, playful, and full of personality — a true companion cat who loves attention and being near his people. As our daughter has grown, we’ve realized that our busy home with a young child is not the right environment for him. Mokai becomes overstimulated by the noise and activity of a small child and has shown aggression toward her, including biting and scratching. Because of this, he would do best in a calm, adult-only home where he can relax and show his loving side. He also has mild GI sensitivity that has been easily managed with prescription food. Mokai is a wonderful cat with a big personality, and we’re hoping to find him a peaceful home where he can truly thrive.
