My story

Peter is here and excited to go to a home that will offer him the time and patience he`ll need to become his best self. He prefers to watch things unfold from afar, so a home with plenty of perches and tunnels to watch you go about your day from are a must! Peter`s ideal home would be one without any young children or dogs, as he doesn`t seem to really want to share his space with any rowdy peeps (humans and mammals alike). While Peter may lean towards the shyer side of cats, we have been lucky enough here to see that he does indeed want his fair share of pets. Once you`ve earned his trust, Peter will be more than happy to hop down from whatever perch he was cat napping on to run up against your legs demanding all the pets! Peter will make an excellent companion for a lowkey household with lots of love and affection to shower him in!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!If you`d like to meet our available pets, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
