Mom

My story

Mom earned her name the moment she arrived at the shelter- found as a stray while in active labor. She safely delivered and raised her puppies like the devoted mama she is, and now that her babies are ready for their own homes, it’s finally Mom’s turn to be loved. Mom is a gentle, observant, and incredibly sweet shepherd mix. She can be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe her affectionate side shines. She melts for pets and loves curling up next to her people for cuddles and naps. She enjoys a calm lifestyle- following her humans around the house, lounging nearby, and simply being close. While she has a playful side, she’s mostly a cozy, relaxed companion. Mom is also a fast learner and very treat-motivated, making great progress with potty training and routines. She just needs a patient home to help her keep building confidence.
