My story

Three years ago, we found Goldy wandering around our yard. He was very skinny, and looked to be a young, not full grown cat. We fed him and he quickly attached to us. He is very friendly and affectionate. When no one in the neighborhood claimed him, we took him in. I am very attached to Goldy. He is also very attached to my wife. He is a fun, active cat. Very playful and gentle. Unfortunately we have to move into senior housing due to health problems. We can only take two cats and we are taking our two older cats. We feel that Goldy is more likely to attract someone looking for a cat. He is a wonderful cat and we will miss him terribly, but we have no choice but to put him up for adoption. I know whoever adopts him will love him as much as we do. One note. Goldy hasn’t fit in with our older cats. He is very active and playful. They are old and grouchy toward young cats. I suspect he would be fine with younger cats.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Goldy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
