Honey Bear

My story

Honey Bear showed up on the door step of a coworker of mine last summer. It was mid-August and her paws were raw from the hot pavement and she was malnourished. My coworker's apartment complex did not allow dogs so we took her in temporarily so she would not have to go to a shelter. Unfortunately, our busy family of 4 cannot give her the attention she deserve so she's spending a lot of time by herself. We take her to doggy daycare once a week for socialization, but we are gone a lot for work and our kids extracurriculars. We were not in the market for a dog, but she was too sweet to go to doggy jail. She is very friendly and does well with kids, although she seems to prefer adults. We are looking for a good home for her that can give her the exercise, time, attention, and affection she needs to thrive. If we were in a different life stage, we would absolutely keep her! She's in good health, regular vet visits, and we will include all of her top-line doggy stuff and a bag of food!
